CHAPTER VII. STALLED

Paige walked the short distance, looking around her stall. Finally, she gave in to her aching feet and sat down, and her mind roamed the incomprehensible possibilities of her situation.

She was being trained and treated like a human horse for racing. Paige had spent a brief year running track in high school, only for the credit. She heard the door to her stall open and looked up with wary eyes to see her trainer enter. He walked over to her and grasped her arms to help her stand, and she shivered as his hands began roaming her body.
